Why They Work

BigSights are:

  • BIG – Easy to see with blurry vision

  • SYMMETRICAL – Easy to align with blurry vision

  • TAPERED – Only the sight face is visible; no glare from the sides of the sight posts

  • CUSTOMIZABLE – Configure size and gap for best sight picture. Use the BigSight Gauge (available at dealers that carry BigSights), the Sight Configurator, and the sight size reference grid below to choose your BigSights (please CONTACT BigSights with any questions).

A key feature is the ability to choose from sixteen possible sight size combinations to customize the size of the vertical gaps that appear when the front sight post is centered in the rear sight notch.  This enables the shooter to replace hard to see standard sights for a sight picture that works with blurry vision. BigSights also enables shooters with great vision to customize sights for quick and easy sight alignment.

Guarantee: If for any reason, you are not completely satisfied with your sight picture, your sight/s can be exchanged for a different size or returned for a full refund within 30 days of purchase.

BIG SIGHT SIZE COMBINATIONS AND SIZING EXPLAINED

The grid below is a simulated perspective view of all sight size combinations on a Glock 17 held at arm’s length. Please note that pistols with a shorter sight radius than Glock 17 will have a slightly tighter sight gap than the images shown below. Glock models with a longer sight radius than Glock 17 will have a slightly larger gap than the images shown below. Please CONTACT BigSights with any questions on sight sizes or for support.

  • There are four front sight sizes and four rear sight sizes making sixteen possible combinations. The combinations allow the shooter to create a custom sight picture based on width as well as the tightness of the front sight post in the rear sight notch

  • All front and rear sight posts are the same height

  • The difference in size between the front sights is the width of the front sight post – F1 is the most narrow post and F4 is the most wide

  • The difference in size between the rear sights is the width of the rear sight notch – R1 is the most narrow notch and R4 is the most wide

Guarantee: If for any reason, you are not completely satisfied with your sight picture, your sight/s can be exchanged for a different size or returned for a full refund within 30 days of purchase.
